Clinical Indications:

Sample Collection Procedure:
A blood sample is obtained by standard venipuncture, usually from a vein in the arm. The patient does not usually require prolonged fasting and the procedure is quick. The sample is sent to the laboratory for analysis of Anti-HBS antibodies.
Patient Preparation:
In most cases, no special preparation is needed before the blood sample is drawn.
